CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Madras Gymkhana Club runs Annual Open Bridge Tournaments. Due to unforeseen
circumstances, a participant(s) who has previously Registered and paid the requisite entry Fee in full
for a particular Event may wish to cancel his/her/their scheduled participation in the said Event or
Tournament.
In case the registrant seeks a refund, then it will be subject to approval by the Organising Committee
and subject to the following Policy :.

  • The Registrant is required to submit a cancellation request in writing or by email at least 48
    hours before the scheduled last date for Registration & Payment as mentioned in this website.
  • Cancellation requests may be submitted at cardpacker@gmail.com clearly mentioning the
    participant’s name, registration date, payment details and reasons for cancellation.
  • In the event of cancellation requests made less than 48 hours but before 24 hours of the
    scheduled event, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of the Organising
    Committee.
  • Cancellation requests received less than 24 hours of the scheduled event are liable to be
    rejected and payment made will be forfeited.

REFUND POLICY

The Refund Policy of The Madras Gymkhana Club is fair & transparent

1. For cancellation made and communicated 48 hours or more before the scheduled start of the
Tournament/Event, a full refund of the entry fee paid shall be made to the registrant.

2. For cancellations made less than 48 hours but before 24 hours of the scheduled event, a
partial refund of 50% of the total entry fee paid by the registrant for the Event, may be
considered by the Organising Committee.

3. Refund requests received less than 24 hours before the scheduled start of the event shall not
be considered.

4. In the case of a no show, no refunds will be issued to the registrant.
